SUMMER

Finally posting... We have had a really fun full summer. Emmie is used to us now. It was a rough couple of months but she is smiling and interacting more and fussing less. She has been so much fun and the kids love her up. We have had the blessing of being with our extended family a lot this summer. Our cousin Ammon Jensen got baptized and then his big brother Matthew had his farewell. Their mom is Jennifer, Jared's sister. Another sister, Mary and her family came up from Mesa and we had a family reunion for several days in Draper. Matthew will be serving in the Copenhagen Denmark mission. What an amazing testimony he has! I don't know what Jared will do for all his computer related questions now. We went to This is the Place Heritage Park which I had never been to before and we had fun and learned at the same time. It was fun to see those Mesa cousins!
The next week Julie my sister and her sweet kids came and spent four days with us. Thanks for coming guys it was so fun! North Beach, bucking horses, picnics, parade in Paris, fireworks on "M" hill, uncle Dave's motorcycle, the drive to Minnitonka and back, Fossil Butte, and a mighty hike... so much fun! Then we had Emmie's blessing and the blessing Jared gave her was very special. He blessed her that she would have a strong testimony of the gospel and that is what I want most for her. With that all of the other things tend to fall into place eventually. It was so good to have our families here with us. One of these days I'll learn how to make a slideshow.
